Peter

Peter, originally from Falkirk, began his journey in a completely different field—Animal Care. After completing his studies in college, he embarked on a career path that eventually led him to a unique and unexpected passion: weaving.

In 2019, Peter joined Radical Weavers, initially to assist with the assembly of looms. However, it wasn’t long before the intricate art of weaving captured his imagination, and he fully immersed himself in the craft. Since then, weaving has become not just a profession, but a true passion.

Peter’s work is distinguished by his bold use of colour, particularly his favourite palette of red, black, white, and gold. Each piece he creates reflects his constant exploration of new techniques and methods, making his work both innovative and instantly recognisable.

In addition to his personal projects, Peter plays a significant role in the community as a workshop leader for Radical Weavers. He has had the privilege of teaching people from various backgrounds, sharing his love for weaving and helping others discover their own creative potential.

When he’s not at the loom, Peter enjoys unwinding through gaming and music, two other passions that offer him a different kind of creative outlet.
