Bookings
Where are you located?
Our studio is 82 Murray Place, FK8 2BX. We are a 5-minute walk from the train & bus stations, and there is a bus stop outside our front door. You can find us across from Oxfam, at the bottom of Friar's Street. Our what.3.words location is gifted.bronze.privately
Is the studio accessible?
Our studio area is accessible for all. We have an accessible toilet and there are no steps internally for the studio.
Can I change my booking?
If plans change and you are no longer able to attend your workshop, please try to let us know at least one week in advance and we will try to get you booked into another date. This is not guaranteed, and if you have any questions please do get in touch.
Can I bring food with me?
Absolutely! We have some fridge facilities available if you want to bring your lunch with you. Alternatively, there are a range of shops and cafes nearby. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout workshops as well.
Community
What is Nip & Tuck?
Nip & Tuck has helped trans people alter clothing to make it
fit and flatter them in a way that off-the-rack clothing doesn’t for
non-standard bodies. The workshops were also designed to foster a sense of
community and connection within a group that is often socially isolated.
What is Crafting for Good?
Crafting for Good offers people the opportunity to learn or
relearn craft skills in a safe and welcoming environment. When people are confident in their making ability, we will make pieces to donate to charities.
People develop a sense of community within our creative therapeutic studio environment.
How can I sign up to join a group?
Please get in touch with us via email or phone to register your interest in joining one of our groups. Let us know which group you are interested in joining and when you'd like to attend.
How can I help out?
We would love for you to help out! We have a range of volunteering opportunities, so there's something for everyone! Get in touch today via email and we'll arrange a time for you to come and see us.
