Our Bespoke Handwoven Lambswool Kilt is crafted to your exact specifications, offering you the chance to commission a fabric in any tartan of your choosing. Each kilt is made using luxurious lambswool, woven by skilled local weavers who lay every thread by hand, ensuring an heirloom-quality item that will last for generations.
Whether you opt for a classic tartan or desire something entirely your own, this is a piece of craftsmanship that speaks to individuality and heritage. Prices range from £1250 to £1550, depending on the complexity of the tartan design.
Create Your Own Tartan: For those who wish to design a kilt that’s truly personal, we offer a bespoke tartan design service for £250. We work with you to create a tartan that reflects your story, values, and unique identity. You’ll also have the option to officially register your tartan, making it a lasting symbol of your heritage.
Expert Finishing: Should you wish to have your kilt fabric sewn into a finished garment, we partner with expert kiltmakers A Wee Favour, who will line and complete your kilt to the highest standard for an additional £350.

Materials
We use wool for its durability, its weight, and its availability. It's the traditional choice for a kilt.
But traditional isn't for everyone! So please specify in your order if you would like a different fibre, and we will see if we can make it work. Not all fibres are suitable for a kilt.
Fabric
As standard, we would provide enough fabric to make into a kilt, with some extra for sock flashes. Extra can be provided for bow ties/ties, or even as an accent on a sporran.
We also offer bespoke hand fastings, scarves, and sashes.
If you would like us to make up your kilt, we partner with traditional kilt makers A Wee Favour, who can finish your kilt to the highest standard.
Time
Our bespoke kilts are make to order, and as each kilt is unique, our turnaround time will vary. When you order, a breakdown of the expected timescale will be provided.
On average, we would expect a custom kilt to take 4-5 weeks to dispatch.
