'1820 Songs of Rebellion' is the latest Lanarkshire Songwriters CD, released recalling local connections with historical events. The group launched the CD formally at the Townhill in Strathaven, home of James 'Purlie' Wilson after the summer break. Based in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire the group has been active now for 28 years writing songs, performing and recording.
